Real video and sound
Real. Not AI.
Every video, photo and sound in The Kids App was filmed, photographed or recorded in the real world. No AI video, no synthetic voices and no strange five-legged animals.

A tap, and the world comes into the living room.
When your child taps a tile, it grows to fill the screen. Then comes the real thing: a puppy in the grass, a digger on a building site, a boy playing the drums. If the thing has a sound, it plays for as long as it’s open.
Pictures that come alive.
The photos don’t sit still. They drift slowly in and out, so even a still picture has a little life in it. Another tap anywhere on the screen, and your child is back at the wall.

Made by people.
Video and photos
Filmed and photographed around the world: a puppy playing in the grass, a cow chewing hay, a space shuttle lifting off.
Sound
Properly recorded. The cow is a real cow, and the fire engine is a real fire engine.
Icons
Drawn by illustrators. Calm colours and clear shapes that little children recognise.
Never quite the same.
Most things have several video clips and photos. The app picks one at random each time, so the cow isn’t always the same cow.
No words. Just point.
The child’s part of the app has no text and no menus. Your child doesn’t need to read—just tap what they want to see.
One photo of each thing, and the sound for most of them, is built into the app. The videos and the rest of the photos download in the background when the app is on Wi-Fi. After that, the whole app works offline.
Ready for the first tap.
Free to download for iPhone, iPad and Android. All the content is open from day one.
